KAWG Power and Glider submissions for 2024

The Known Advisory Working Group can now publish pdf’s of the 5-figure sets of Free Known figures submitted by various NACs for use in all power and glider categories during 2024. The annual plenary conference of CIVA will take place this year at the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow from Friday 17 November (arrivals and Extended Bureau meeting), with the conference itself from 09:00 on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19. The package of submitted proposals for assessment during 2023 by the joint Rules and Judging Committees and the Glider Aerobatic Committee is now available from the CIVA Document Store. EIAC in Romania Cancelled

Unfortunately the number of entries for this Intermediate power championship at Deva in Romania has finally reached only 16 pilots from 4 nations, insufficient to meet CIVA Part-1 regulation 1.2.5.2 which stipulates that a minimum of 15 pilots from 5 countries is required to maintain FAI Category-1 status. At this late stage therefore the organisers only option has been to cancel the CIVA event and revise it to become the 1st Romanian National Open Intermediate Aerobatic Championships instead. CIVA’s primary championship Section-6 Regulations for power (Part-1) and glider (Part-2) events are now available for download from the Document Store in this website, and also from the CIVA Documents page on the FAI > CIVA website.
