John Gaillard

I am very sorry to tell you that on Sunday 7th August our friend and colleague John Gaillard passed away peacefully at home. John had been strongly involved in the aerobatic sports movement in South Africa for a great many years, where his passing will be deeply mourned. CIVA Proposals for 2023

The package of proposals submitted by Delegates for review at the 2022 plenary conference in Switzerland is now available in the CIVA Document Store. These proposals will be reviewed by the Rules, Judging and Glider Aerobatic Committees at their meeting in Poland on August 3rd, during which a live-stream broadcast to the CIVA News YouTube page is planned to enable remote viewers to follow the debates.

Mid-year Free Discussion Reports

WIAC The World Intermediate Aerobatic Championship is due to run at Toruń in Poland from June 3rd to 11th. The organisers website at yak52wiac2022.eu currently shows a good number of entries, and they confirm that this championship will definitely go ahead as planned.
