Both parts 1 (power) and 2 (glider) of CIVA Section-6 Regulations have been republished with their “half-loop and roll” texts and the explanatory diagram revised to match the approval reached at the 2025 plenary conference in Paris. This final solution involves mandatory application of a Hard Zero if separation between the roll and the half-loop reaches or exceeds twice the radius of the looping element. In each document the revised text-and-diagram are at paragraph B9.8 – please therefore update your personal copy with a visit to the CIVA Document Store.

Our aim is to provide forward information for everyone with an interest in aerobatic competition flying.
For this however we do need your help, so please make sure that your Aerobatic Club or National Airsport Control sends us details of all competitions that are open to pilots and/or judges from other countries and we’ll add them to our Championship Calendar so that they get the widest circulation possible.
