This championship was briefly discussed at the 2022 Plenary Conference in Lausanne, and initially published here with Provisional status. Approval for the event was subsequently given by Delegates during an online vote on December 11th 2022.
Final details regarding the location of the aerobatic box and other outstanding matters were resolved during a site visit in early January 2023 by International Jury President Pierre Varloteaux.
