EAC-2021 is now cancelled

The CIVA Bureau regrets to announce that, despite a great deal of help through many weeks from organisers in a range of countries, our attempts to relocate the 2021 European Aerobatic Championship (EAC) have not been successful. Sadly time is now too short and later scheduled options unrealistic when considering long-established team plans and commitments. Under the circumstances therefore we have reluctantly concluded that the only viable option is to cancel EAC 2021 and bring this difficult process to a logical conclusion. The Bureau would like to express its thanks to all who have made such tremendous efforts during recent weeks to try and establish new ways for this event to be staged.

With only the WGAC/WAGAC glider combination so far approved for the Issoudun organising team in France next year, the Bureau looks forward with considerable interest to receiving bids from NACs for the 2022 WAC, EAAC, WIAC and WY52AC, and of course also for championships in 2023 to complement the WAAC that is destined for Jean, Las Vegas.
