In 1947 the airport at Holíč began its new life under the registration of the Slovak National Aeroclub. In 1951, the aero club was transferred to the army organization Zvazarm and aviation technology was expanded. During the existence of the Holíč Aero Club, many sports pilots were trained, who gradually became business, transport, but also military pilots. Intensive modelling activities at the Holíč airport are worthily represented by both the Holíč Aeroclub and the town of Holíč with competitions of European importance. Aviation Days, which have been held at the airport for more than 10 years, also contribute to the promotion of the city of Holíč.
Our aim is to provide forward information for everyone with an interest in aerobatic competition flying.
For this however we do need your help, so please make sure that your Aerobatic Club or National Airsport Control sends us details of all competitions that are open to pilots and/or judges from other countries and we’ll add them to our Championship Calendar so that they get the widest circulation possible.
